The Horror Movies of 1987
The Monster Men are kicking off a new series of episodes where we go back in time and look at the horror movies that came out in a specific year. We started it all off with 1987 (the last year I was a single man) and boy, what a year! It may be the best of all time. Give the episode a watch and tell me what you think. What was your favorite horror movie of 1987? Also, what years would you like us to explore next?

About Hunter Shea
Hunter Shea is the product of a misspent childhood watching scary movies, reading forbidden books and wishing Bigfoot would walk past his house. He doesn’t just write about the paranormal – he actively seeks out the things that scare the hell out of people and experiences them for himself. Hunter’s novels can even be found on display at the International Cryptozoology Museum. His video podcast, Monster Men, is one of the most watched horror podcasts in the world. You’ll also find him every week on the Final Guys podcast, available everywhere. He’s a bestselling author of over 30 books, all of them written with the express desire to quicken heartbeats and make spines tingle. Living with his wonderful family and two cats, he’s happy to be close enough to New York City to gobble down Gray’s Papaya hotdogs when the craving hits.6 responses to “The Horror Movies of 1987”

Just ran a Google search: Bob Barker IS still kicking. He’s 95!
Damn. Good for him.
Predator-the only movie ever to star 2 Governors!!!
That is so true!
Fun fact: Michael Caine missed the 1987 Oscars where he was named Best Supporting Actor for his role in Hannah and Her Sisters because he was in the Bahamas filming Jaws Revenge and couldn’t get away!!
Good Lord!!!!
