A Horror(hound) Pictorial

I’m back from the Horrorhound weekend in Indy and the air is already getting crisper, the night coming sooner. October is coming. That means Halloween is near. It also means I’m ready to begin my month-long immersion in all things horror.

To get the season going, I have a couple of things. First is The Monster Men’s new podcast on The Bermuda Triangle. Terror on the high seas!

Second, since a picture can say a thousand words, here are 14,000 words on Horrorhound and Halloween. Thank you to everyone who came to the Samhain table and especially those who picked up some signed copies. You all made our day.

About Hunter Shea

Hunter Shea is the product of a misspent childhood watching scary movies, reading forbidden books and wishing Bigfoot would walk past his house. He doesn’t just write about the paranormal – he actively seeks out the things that scare the hell out of people and experiences them for himself. Hunter’s novels can even be found on display at the International Cryptozoology Museum. His video podcast, Monster Men, is one of the most watched horror podcasts in the world. You’ll also find him every week on the Final Guys podcast, available everywhere. He’s a bestselling author of over 30 books, all of them written with the express desire to quicken heartbeats and make spines tingle. Living with his wonderful family and two cats, he’s happy to be close enough to New York City to gobble down Gray’s Papaya hotdogs when the craving hits.

Damn I’ve got to get to one of these…

Come to Chiller in Pasrippany next month. I’m planning to try a Tweetup that’s basiclaly involve drinking and having a blast.

Do you have a table there or going as a spectator? I’ve been thinking of getting a table next year, for my individual work & to perhaps include members of the Damned (remember, I haven’t revealed my plans yet lol). Would you be interested in going in on a table for the next time?

      • Hunter Shea says :

My publisher won’t have a table and I considered getting my own. The costs is $400 for the table, plus NJ vendor licence fees, then you add up room and everything else so I scrapped it. I would do it in a heartbeat if I had others to share the expense next year, so you can count me in. I’m going to see if a Tweetup will work this year and get some folks in the bar to have fun.

I love the Leprechaun costume. How many times did that guy say “I need me gold!”

I love the costumes! Especially the gorey ones. Thanks for sharing.

Fabulous! The pictures are fun, but my favorite part of this post is the phrase, “since a picture can say a thousand words, here are 14,000 words on Horrorhound.” Someday, I will make it to one of these, although I’m not much for wearing costumes, I love to get signed books! 🙂
